HAY, Neville - Wharton
HAY, Neville - Wharton
Butterfield Press is proud to announce Wharton by Neville Hay.
Wharton is both a biography of unjustly forgotten Formula 1 driver and hill climb ace Ken Wharton (1916-1957) and a very personal recollection of a friendship between Ken Wharton and author Neville Hay. The book contains a generous selection of beautifully restored images plus Wharton’s racing record (researched by motor racing historian David Smith). In its design and production the book pays homage to photobook classics from the first half of the twentieth century.
Neville Hay (1938) is a motorsport writer and historian. He has provided commentary at race meetings both in the UK and abroad since the 1950s. The events he has covered for radio and TV include Formula One races, Indycar and Le Mans.
