HAY, Neville - Wharton [SECOND EDITION]

£95.00

By popular demand, a 100-copy only second edition of Neville Hay’s final book. New Bauhaus-inspired cover printed on 300g Arjowiggins Curious Alchemy.

Wharton is both a biography of unjustly forgotten Formula 1 driver and hill climb ace Ken Wharton (1916-1957) and a very personal recollection of a friendship between Ken Wharton and author Neville Hay. The book contains a generous selection of beautifully restored images plus Wharton’s racing record (researched by motor racing historian David Smith).

Neville Hay (1938-2024) was a motorsport writer and historian. He provided commentary at race meetings both in the UK and abroad. The events he covered for radio and TV included Formula One races, Indycar and Le Mans.
